Overview

Creative Stategist & Storytelling (Brand Marketing) role. The Creative Strategist, Marketing will work closely with the General Manager of The Accelerator Group (TAG), to serve as strategic creative partner to develop brand identity, experience and guidelines. You will lead the development of innovative and compelling creative concepts that drive storytelling for product differentiation and brand identity. You will have end to end creative ownership from ideation to final content creation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints. You will partner with social, eCommerce, digital strategy and broader creative teams to bring the brand stories in an emotive way that touches the consumers hearts and mind.

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand positioning on shelf and packaging; work with the General Manager on branding and storytelling with a focus on creative execution.
  • Drive storytelling opportunities using consumer insights and innovative ideas to push brand narratives across consumer touchpoints.
  • Provide end-to-end creative ownership from ideation to final content creation, ensuring brand guidelines are followed while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate with social, eCommerce, digital strategy, and broader creative teams to craft emotive brand stories across digital and physical channels.
  • Concept, pitch, design, and execute innovative ad campaigns and experiences for TAG brands, including developing the creative brief and launching campaigns.
  • Direct outside creative disciplines when needed and provide feedback throughout the creative development process; ensure UX considerations are integrated where applicable.
  • Develop bespoke creative strategies with a strong point of view and clear direction for internal and external partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, supporting their professional development and maintaining high standards of creative output.
  • Incorporate emerging marketing trends and GenAI innovations into the creative strategy and execution.
  • Maintain strong communication with senior leadership and stakeholders to establish best practices and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior creative leadership role focused on storytelling and performance, preferably with consumer product goods; experience across startups, agencies, in-house teams, or non-traditional content creators is desirable.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize ideas and influence stakeholders across platforms.
  • Innovation mindset with a track record of creative and strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate creative vision to diverse stakeholders and to work with senior leadership, media, and partners.
  • Willingness to take big swings with bold concepts and to fail in pursuit of something extraordinary.
  • Hands-on willingness to write and produce promos, sizzles, social and digital content as needed.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to incorporate emerging marketing trends and GenAI innovations into strategy and execution.
  • Experience in concepting, pitching, designing, and executing innovative campaigns from brief to launch; strong design aesthetic and ability to guide cross-functional teams; UX experience a plus.
  • Strong art-direction and copywriting understanding across digital, print, OOH, video, and more; ensure all work adheres to brand guidelines while pushing boundaries.
  • Strategic thinker who can solve business problems through creativity and brand development, including prelaunch branding, evolution, or turnaround experiences.
  • Experience leading and managing a team with a track record of developing talent and delivering high-quality work; decisive with good judgment and adaptability.
  • Tech-forward mindset, embracing AI, motion, and other formats to spark inspiration and push boundaries.
  • Effective leadership, strong communication, and the ability to guide and persuade stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Entrepreneurial, ambitious, culturally aware, and resilient with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Latest work samples and portfolio required.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 – $180,000, with bonus eligibility. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including experience, location, and business needs.
