Overview

Salesforce is seeking a highly skilled and creative Lead Motion Graphics Editor and Gen AI Artist with advanced Adobe After Effects expertise to join our in-house creative team. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating high-quality motion graphics and visual effects for digital platforms including customer success videos, product demos, marketing campaigns, social media, internal communications, and corporate events. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of visual storytelling, animation principles, the technical intricacies of After Effects, and advanced skills using Generative AI video creation platforms like Runway, Midjourney, Veo3, and similar tools to deliver content that aligns with Salesforce's brand guidelines and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Storyboarding: Collaborate with creative directors, video producers, editors, and stakeholders to develop concepts and visual styles.


• Generative AI Video Creation: Utilize Generative AI platforms to rapidly create and augment video content for promos and campaigns, focusing on prompt engineering and creative direction.


• Motion Graphics Design & Animation: Design and animate motion graphics using After Effects, including:
  
  
  
  • Complex keyframe animation and expressions
  
  
  • 3D animation integration with Cinema 4D or similar
  
  
  • Advanced compositing and visual effects (rotoscoping, tracking, keying, particle systems)
  
  
  • Kinetic typography and dynamic text animation
  
  
  • Product UI animation and cleanup
  
  
  • Data visualization and infographic animation
  
  
  • After Effects template design and creation
  
  


• Video Editing & Integration: Edit footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and integrate motion graphics, ensuring visual consistency and pacing.


• Brand Consistency: Adhere to Salesforce brand guidelines across platforms.


• Collaboration & Client Relations: Work with internal clients and stakeholders to define scope and deliver assets meeting objectives.


• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Identify challenges and stay ahead of motion graphics trends to enhance storytelling and production efficiency.


• Asset Management: Organize project files and assets for smooth workflows.


• Optimization & Delivery: Optimize graphics and videos for various platforms and delivery methods.

Key Projects & Deliverables

• Customer Success Video Motion Graphics: Design and animate content within the Salesforce UI.


• Product Demos & Feature Explainer Videos: Create animated sequences showing product functionality.


• Social Media Campaigns: Develop short-form animated content for social channels.


• Brand & Marketing Videos: Contribute motion graphics to brand films and campaigns.


• Motion Graphic Templates: Develop After Effects templates to standardize production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Film, Multimedia Arts, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer/Editor with a strong portfolio.


• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects.


• Portfolio demonstrating Generative AI video tools usage (Runway, Midjourney, Veo3, etc.).


• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.


• Strong design and animation principles knowledge.


• Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, Photoshop).


• Proficiency with 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender) for 3D elements.


• Ability to translate concepts into engaging motion graphics.


• Attention to detail and quality; strong organizational and time management skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.


• Passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate or tech environment.


• Familiarity with Salesforce products or the SaaS industry.


• Scripting or expressions in After Effects for automation.


• Knowledge of other tools like Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, and plugins.


• Experience with sound design and mixing for motion graphics.


• Experience using Generative AI video platforms to create and augment content.
