Salesforce Studios Lead Motion Graphics Editor and Generative AI Video Artist/Specialist – Salesforce

Salesforce is seeking a highly skilled Lead Motion Graphics Editor and Gen AI Artist to join our in-house creative team. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and animating high-quality motion graphics and visual effects for a variety of digital platforms, with advanced Adobe After Effects expertise and Generative AI video creation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Storyboarding: Collaborate with creative directors, video producers, video editors, and stakeholders to develop innovative concepts and visual styles for motion graphics projects.
• Generative AI Video Creation: Use Generative AI platforms as a core tool to rapidly create and augment video content for promos, commercials, and branded campaigns, focusing on prompt engineering and creative direction.
• Motion Graphics Design & Animation: Design and animate motion graphics using After Effects with advanced techniques, including 3D integration, compositing, and visual effects, kinetic typography, product UI animation, data visualization, and template design.
• Video Editing & Integration: Edit and assemble footage (primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro) and integrate motion graphics elements, ensuring visual consistency, pacing, and flow.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to Salesforce brand guidelines across platforms and projects.
• Collaboration & Client Relations: Define project scope with internal clients and stakeholders and deliver assets meeting business objectives.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Address creative/technical challenges, stay current with motion graphics trends, and explore methods to improve storytelling and production efficiency.
• Asset Management: Organize project files and assets for efficient workflows and future reuse.
• Optimization & Delivery: Optimize graphics and videos for various platforms and delivery methods while maintaining high quality.

Key Projects & Deliverables

• Customer Success Video Motion Graphics: Design and animate content across the Salesforce UI platform.
• Product Demos & Feature Explainer Videos: Create animated sequences to showcase functionality of Salesforce products.
• Social Media Campaigns: Develop short-form animated content for social channels.
• Brand & Marketing Videos: Contribute motion graphics to brand films, customer stories, and campaigns.
• Motion Graphic Templates: Develop After Effects templates to standardize production and accelerate delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Film, Multimedia Arts, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer/Editor with a strong After Effects portfolio.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects (animation, visual effects, compositing).
• Portfolio demonstrating Generative AI video tools (Runway, Midjourney, Veo3, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and integration.
• Strong design and animation principles knowledge (typography, color theory, layout, timing, etc.).
• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender) for integration into motion graphics.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals; strong attention to detail; excellent communication; ability to work independently and in a team; passion for storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate or tech environment; familiarity with Salesforce products or SaaS.
• Scripting or expressions in After Effects for automation.
• Knowledge of additional VFX tools (Nuke, DaVinci Resolve) and sound design/mixing for motion graphics.
• Experience using Generative AI video platforms to create and augment promos and branded content.

Salary ranges may vary by location: New York, NY; California; Illinois. For New York-based roles, the base salary range is $138,800 to $190,900; for California, $138,800 to $190,900; for Illinois, $127,200 to $174,900.
