Job Title: ECAD Librarian/PCB Designer

Job Location: Fully Remote / McLeansville NC 27301

Onsite Requirements:

• Proficiency with Mentor Graphics Xpedition (or similar tools like Altium)
• Experience with Library Management Practices
• Department of Defense experience / Security Clearance Eligibility (Does NOT require an Active clearance)

Job Description:

Role and Position Objectives:

• As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
• We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
• A minimum of two years' experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
• Experience with library management practices.
• Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.

What sets you apart:

• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium
• Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
• Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
• In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
• Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
• Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
• Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Clearance requirements:

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred or obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
• This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens. US Citizens will only be considered for this role
