Salary: $12.00 per hour

Description: Texas Work-study - Computer Lab Student Worker. Looking for a student worker who can assist the PM Reference staff at the 4th-floor reference desk with daily tasks. This student must be able to work a PM schedule ranging from 4 PM - 10 PM (Monday-Thursday) and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors computer lab activity
• Interprets the computer lab policy for patrons and enforces the computer lab and study room rules
• Manages study room reservations
• Checks out study room key cards and other equipment to patrons
• Loads printers (6 in total) with paper
• Troubleshoots computer lab equipment (computers, printers, and scanners)
• Assists patrons with computer and software issues/questions
• Provides visitors with computer access
• Assists the librarian with closing of computer lab

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work Tuesday to Friday, 12 PM-5 PM or Wednesday to Friday, 12-5 PM, and Saturday, 1-5 PM

Qualifications

• Must be a current UHD Student
