Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide for online AP English Literature and Composition tutoring. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning—from home.

Compensation

Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn up to $40/hour with the same student over time. You’ll be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform.
• Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Deliver AP English Literature and Composition instruction, personalizing lessons for different learning styles.
• Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.
