Minimum Qualifications
Master's in music; OR Bachelor's in music AND Master's in humanities; OR equivalent qualifications (education, experience, or other accomplishments) as judged equal to the minimum qualifications. Candidates who qualify via equivalency must submit an APPLICATION FOR EQUIVALENCY with supporting documents. Qualifications include the requirement that degrees are from accredited institutions (Title V Section 53406). For degrees earned outside the United States, credential evaluation is required. The screening process may limit interviews and meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. Candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds.
