ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior UI/UX Specialist to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leads the design process from concept to delivery, conducting extensive user research, developing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes, and ensuring user needs and business requirements are met.

  • Establishes and maintains design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products, and collaborates closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to advocate for user-centered design.

  • Stays ahead of the latest industry trends, drives continuous improvement in user experience, and contributes significantly to overall product strategy.

  • Analyzes user data, conducts usability testing, and translates insights into actionable design improvements, applying human-centered design (HCD) principles throughout the process.

  • Mentors and provides guidance to mid-level and Junior UI/UX Specialists, fostering their professional development and expertise, and demonstrates a deep understanding of human factors engineering (HFE) principles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree

  • 9+ years of experience with 5+ in a position-specific relevant .

  • Expertise in creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. Proficiency in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective design solutions. Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in UI/UX design.

  • Strong understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles and human factors engineering (HFE) considerations.

  • Experience with accessibility guidelines and standards (e.g., Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG). Experience with data visualization.

  • Experience with animation and motion design. Experience with design systems management tools. Experience in contributing to product strategy. Ability to drive continuous improvement in the user experience.

  • Experience with internationalization and localization.

  • Deep understanding of human-centered design (HCD) methodologies and their application in the design process.

  • Familiarity with emerging UI/UX technologies and trends, such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and voice user interfaces (VUI).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active/current Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
