As a key member of the McNeilus Aftermarket Service Team, the Volterra Service Writer Coordinator will support service operations for the groundbreaking McNeilus Volterra, North America’s first fully integrated electric refuse collection vehicle (RCV). This role is essential in driving efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing and coordinating service work orders with precision and urgency. The Service Writer Coordinator will conduct thorough technical evaluations and ensure estimates meet both pricing and technical standards. Working closely with the Volterra Service Manager, they will coordinate service quotes and repairs, maintaining seamless communication between customers, field technicians, and internal teams. This role acts as a central hub of information—handling inquiries related to vehicles, warranties, service reports, suppliers, scheduling, billing, shipping, and quality assurance. Additionally, the coordinator will help identify potential sales opportunities, contributing to business growth and customer success.
