As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform and deliver writing instruction.
• Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles to help students achieve their goals.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like; invoice for your tutoring sessions and manage payments.
• Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
