What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Technical Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online tutoring sessions in Technical Writing using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Set your own schedule and work as much as you want.
• Prepare lessons and personalize instruction to match student needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students and families.
• Utilize the Tutor Copilot and platform features to enhance sessions.
• Invoice for sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.
