The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Business Writing tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.
Pay
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
- Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
- Use AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
- Match with students suited to your teaching style and expertise.
- Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in Business Writing with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.
