Bloomberg Television is looking for a highly motivated Booking Producer to join our flagship morning program for a 6-month contract.
You will be responsible for identifying top-tier guests, cultivating relationships, monitoring the news and taking the initiative on covering breaking news, finding the appropriate voices under deadline pressure.
You should have a broad interest in global news with a focus on finance and the economy.
Experience & Background
- 3–5 years of experience in television or digital news production, preferably in a live business news environment.
- Prior experience booking high-profile guests such as CEOs, economists, policymakers, market strategists, or government officials.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, economics, and global news—especially in relation to Bloomberg’s core coverage areas.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a network of reliable sources and expert contacts.
- Ability to identify newsworthy guests and topics aligned with Bloomberg's editorial focus.
You'll Need To Have
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and confirm multiple guest bookings per show.
- Be proactive - pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our content.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment, be able to pivot and react as news events evolve.
- Flexibility with hours and early morning start times.
