We are seeking an experienced MEP Designer to join our team at Giga Factory Texas in Aus n. The ideal
candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in designing dry and wet mechanical systems, with
experience in industrial greenfield and brownfield projects.
Responsibili es
• Develop and produce accurate and appealing industry standard MEP drawings, layouts, and 3D
models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protec on, and electrical systems in accordance with
applicable codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP system layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and process
components.
• Use Revizto, Naviswork, or similar tools for clash detec on and mul disciplinary coordina on.
• Generate construc on drawings, equipment schedules, single line diagram, P&ID, riser diagrams,
and details.
• Can perform basic calcula ons and understand and interpret engineer(s) work and approach to
develop schema cs, concepts, and further advance the design.
• Par cipate in design reviews, coordina on mee ngs, and model updates.
• Assist in preparing submi=als, redlines, as-built, and record drawings.
• Lead 3D model reviews with cross discipline and executive level stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
Requirements 1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field. 2. CAD/BIM cer fica ons or coursework preferred. 3. 4-7 years of experience in MEP draBing and design for building systems. 4. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. 5. Familiarity with Revizto, Navisworks, or other BIM coordina on tools is a plus. 6. Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, IMC, IPC, or other relevant building codes and design standards.
