What to Expect

We are seeking an experiencedMEP Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have4-7 years of experiencein designing dry and wet mechanical systems, with experience in industrial greenfield and brownfield projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and produce accurate and appealing industry standard MEP drawings, layouts, and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD

• Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements
• Coordinate MEP system layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and process components
• Use Revizto, Naviswork, or similar tools for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination
• Generate construction drawings, equipment schedules, single line diagram, P&ID, riser diagrams, and details
• Can perform basic calculations and understand and interpret engineer(s) work and approach to develop schematics, concepts, and further advance the design
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and model updates

What You'll Bring

• CAD/BIM certifications or coursework preferred
• 4-7 years of experience in MEP drafting and design for building systems
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required
• Familiarity with Revizto, Navisworks, or other BIM coordination tools is a plus
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, or other relevant building codes and design standards
