Cahill is seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This role provides key administrative and project support to the Marketing & Communications department, with a strong focus on organization, data entry, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines and deliverables. The Marketing Assistant will support proposals, communications, events, and general business development activities.
The Marketing Assistant will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the rest of the team. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized, with strong follow-through. This is an entry-level support role with growth potential over time.
Responsibilities
Marketing Support:
Assist with proposals and qualification packages, including gathering content, formatting, and ensuring brand consistency
Maintain and update marketing files (projects, resumes, photos, etc.)
Enter, update, and maintain information in our CRM system
Assist with preparing and formatting presentations, collateral, and other client-facing materials
Communications Support:
Assist with formatting, proofreading, and distributing internal and external communications prepared by the team
Assist with social media content, graphics, and scheduling
Support updates to SharePoint and company website content
Assist with ad layout/design and other creative deliverables
Events & General Marketing Operations:
Help coordinate industry events, tradeshows, and internal meetings
Assist with annual client gift program and other client engagement initiatives
Manage branded materials/merchandise inventory and orders
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth team operations
Required Education, Experience, and Qualities
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent administrative/office experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong proofreading, formatting, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn new skills
Flexible and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership; able to manage shifting priorities
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with a CRM or marketing database (Salesforce a plus)
1–2 years of administrative, marketing, or communications support experience, preferably in A/E/C or professional services
Full-time, direct-hire position located in San Francisco’s Financial District with hybrid flexibility
