The University of Wisconsin-Stout's Marketing Communications (MarCom) team is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to support the planning, design, execution, optimization, and analysis of university-wide email marketing campaigns. This full-time position is ideal for a marketing professional with foundational experience in email or digital marketing who is eager to grow their skills in marketing automation, campaign strategy, and performance reporting.
The marketing specialist will work with the Digital & Email Marketing Manager to support email initiatives across the student recruitment lifecycle using email automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Emma). Marketing & Communications leads and implements cross-campus marketing communications, strategies, and research to help drive UW-Stout's enrollment, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, information technology, or related field - or equivalent professional experience. Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM). Experience planning and implementing email marketing automation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance, especially in proofreading and formatting. Interest in learning marketing automation tools and analytics platform. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Salesforce Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), Emma, or another marketing automation platform. Familiarity with marketing best practices including segmentations, personalization and A/B testing. Foundational knowledge digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms. Experience using analytics tools to monitor campaign performance. Experience working with creative or technical tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator). Familiarity with web development and content management system (CMS). Experience in a higher education or large nonprofit marketing environment. How to Apply:
