Civil BIM Designer

A well-established client of ours is currently seeking the expertise of a talented and creative Civil BIM Designer.
Responsibilities

• The development of BIM execution plans, planning and guiding the production of BIM models, the leadership of model development, and coordinating with BIM discipline leads and element authors to optimize coordination and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Your role is to design the building infrastructure-power and cooling systems-to make sure that happens
• Build 3D models and content, to the Level of Development (LOD) specified by the design team and client
• You'll interface with architects, and structural, and civil engineers throughout the project lifecycle to set up models and drawings, incorporate markups, implement the design and print
• Manage and modify sheet sets by adding/removing sheets, page labeling, creating individual and combined sheet sets
• Setup and use BlueBeam studio sessions for redline markups
• Assist architectural project managers in implementing environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards
• Modify Architectural CAD/BIM files for use in MEP design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting)

Key requirements:

• Civil3D proficiency is required
• 4 years' experience working with AutoCAD and REVIT MEP.
• Familiar with at least one: Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trades
• Create 2D structural details from information provided by the architect, engineer, and MEP
• Proficient in Revit by producing 3D structural models by gathering information from architectural and MEP 3D model
