Overview Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Technical Writer L1 to support our government customer in Washington, DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The Technical Writer Level I will create and revise technical documentation while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all materials. Responsibilities

Documentation Development:

Write technical reports and manuals

Create operational procedures

Develop maintenance documentation

Prepare instruction books

Draft proposals and briefs

Update existing documentation

Maintain technical catalogs

Technical Responsibilities:

Review technical specifications

Interpret engineering drawings

Process operational data

Organize technical content

Select supporting visuals

Maintain documentation files

Follow style guidelines

Content Management:

Coordinate document production

Maintain revision records

Manage file systems

Support publication layouts

Coordinate distribution

0-2 years technical writing experience

This position requires strong writing abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation. Success in this role demands excellent organization skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams while maintaining high documentation standards.
