Overview

The Experience Research team conducts market and user experience research to support U.S. Retail Markets by delivering customer, prospect, and agent insights that drive business strategy and competitive advantage. Within this team, the End-to-End Relationship Research group plays a critical role in combining research and operational data to guide decision-making. This role will primarily focus on enhancing the Journey Survey Program to improve analytics, drive retention insights, and deliver actionable outcomes, while also supporting established research programs such as Independent Agent research and competitive intelligence. Additionally, the role will serve as a consultative partner by synthesizing data across multiple sources, proactively sharing insights, and recommending strategic actions.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and mature the Journey Survey Program, focusing on retention drivers, root causes, and consumer segment needs.
  • Conduct advanced analytics to improve utility and actionability of research outputs.
  • Support established programs such as Independent Agent research and 3rd party competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with research directors and stakeholders to answer complex business questions using diverse data sources.
  • Synthesize insights from multiple research programs to deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Develop compelling reports and present research findings to leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Proactively socialize insights and industry observations to guide decision-making across the organization.
  • Contribute to the team’s mission of shifting from problem identification to solution-driven recommendations.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2–3 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical research tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Displayr, MarketSight.
  • Strong knowledge of data sources, tools, and statistical principles (predictive modeling and segmentation a plus).
  • Ability to translate research insights into strategic recommendations for business action.
  • Demonstrated experience creating impactful reports and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Comfort testing and leveraging AI tools to enhance research efficiency and depth.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
  • Experience working at or with market research suppliers.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques for unstructured data.
