The Instructional Designer position is an integral part of the Talent Development Team in Human Resources. The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders in designing and developing training materials for various projects, including but not limited to compliance, technical systems, operational support, and Workday. Training modalities may include technical manuals, instructional videos, eLearning modules, web design, support walkthroughs, and instructor-led training. The position will also be expected to coordinate training projects and maintain regular, reliable attendance and professional relationships. Responsibilities

Design and develop training materials for a variety of projects (compliance, technical systems, operational support, Workday). Coordinate training projects and act as a project lead or contributor as needed. Support training delivery through multiple modalities (manuals, videos, eLearning, web content, walkthroughs, ILT). Maintain clear, collegial working relationships and ensure reliable attendance. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education At least two years of instructional design experience At least two years using creative software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, TechSmith, Articulate Rise or Storyline) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with business applications or ERP systems (e.g., Workday) Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications. Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years in instructional design One or more learning and development certifications (e.g., APTD, CPLP, CPTD, HCI, SHRM, Quality Matters) Experience developing compliance training related to institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards Experience developing technical training for business applications and/or ERP systems (e.g., Workday) Experience using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Planner, Notion, Wrike) Experience creating accessible, standards-compliant web pages using HTML and CSS Experience building websites using CMS or WYSIWYG platforms (WordPress, Weebly, Wix, SharePoint, Squarespace) Graphic design experience with an understanding of visual design principles, basic animation, and visual storytelling Background in higher education Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of adult learning principles Knowledge of visual literacy and information hierarchies Knowledge of eLearning standards such as SCORM Knowledge of institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards Technical writing, editing, and proofreading Audio and video scriptwriting, production, and editing Strong presentation and facilitation skills Front-end web development with HTML, CSS, accessibility, and UX focus Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to create accessible formats using Section 508 and WCAG Ability to translate compliance requirements into effective training content Familiarity with policy and procedure documentation Ability to troubleshoot and analyze training-related technical issues Project coordination and management abilities Creative and critical thinking to solve problems Clear oral and written communication Collaborative teamwork and positive professional relationships Ability to learn new software quickly Additional Information
