Senior Social Media Manager

Our retail client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for enhancing our brand's online presence, engaging with our community, and driving conversions through innovative social media campaigns. This role is going onsite five days a week in their Torrance, CA office or remote in Seattle, WA - with travel about 1x per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for performance and ROI.
  • Analyze social media metrics and performance data to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency and effective communication.
  • Oversee community engagement initiatives, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Identify and work with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and engagement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in social media and digital marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience with content creation and copywriting.
  • Proficiency in analytics and data analysis tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with SEO and paid advertising strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on community engagement.
