As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Fashion Designer - Women's Clothing to lead our design team, oversee the full creative process, and collaborate with global partners.

The Role

The Senior Fashion Designer will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of our women's clothing line. This role requires a balance of creative vision, strong technical design expertise, and effective cross-cultural communication skills to collaborate with overseas factories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10+ years in women's fashion design, a keen eye for US market trends, and the ability to lead and mentor a design team to deliver on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Lead the women's apparel design process from concept to final product, ensuring creativity, functionality, and market appeal.

  • Market Research: Stay ahead of fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes in the US women's apparel market to influence seasonal collections.

  • Team Supervision: Manage, mentor, and oversee the design department, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and alignment with brand goals.

  • Factory Coordination: Collaborate with overseas manufacturing teams (in China and other regions) on prototyping, sampling, measurement approvals, and production planning.

  • Technical Design: Develop and review detailed spec sheets, technical drawings, and fit samples, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand quality standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising, production, and supply chain teams to deliver collections on schedule and within cost parameters.

  • Client & Buyer Interaction: Present design concepts to leadership and buyers when required, incorporating feedback into final collections.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field (required).

  • Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in women's fashion design (US market preferred).

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD design tools.

  • Languages: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese preferred) to effectively communicate with overseas factories.

  • Strong understanding of fabric sourcing, pattern-making, garment construction, and production processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
