Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up audio/visual equipment for meetings, conferences and scheduled events.
• Actively monitor each event and oversee quality control of the audio visual equipment.
• Assess the needs of internal and external customers and prepare the proper technical audio/visual setup for all college facilities.
• Maintain the calendar schedule, facilitate general aspects of the audio visual equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed during all events.
• Serve as back up for events booked on campus, including operation of all equipment.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and general maintenance for all events.
• Work with Event Management System software to ensure efficient setup for all events.
• Ensure service items and equipment are maintained.
• Provide daily facility maintenance.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required. Audio/visual related certificate or degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in event operations or conference center operations with audio/visual setup.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies.
• Proven ability to use event management system software.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
