As our Communication Specialist, you will capture highly sensitive information via inbound calls pertaining to confidential workplace concerns, unethical issues, and violations. This enables our customers around the world to gain insight on how they can protect their employees and improve their work environments while minimizing organizational risk. The reports may involve stressful situations or topics that could be personally offensive.

As a member of our Contact Center team, you will support our flagship product for Hotline & Incident Management services by creating an exceptional customer experience. You will work with a team committed to your success and growth, and your contributions will directly impact our organizational goals. Some team members are fluent in languages beyond English, and our Bilingual Customer Service Agents provide outstanding service that supports customer retention.

What You'll Do

  • Engage each reporter with care and concern; instill confidence that information will be handled appropriately and that their experience matters.
  • Answer calls from various industries promptly and follow the intake process, exercising good judgment to meet caller needs.
  • Lead reporters through a guided interview, asking relevant questions and emphasizing quality and accuracy of report details.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all reports both internally and externally.
  • Assist with special projects and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain flexibility for 24/7 operations that may change.

What You'll Need

  • Outstanding customer service skills with strong customer and results orientation.
  • Emotional resilience; ability to remain calm in distressing situations.
  • A quiet, secure home workspace for remote duties with a recommended internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
  • Ability to multi-task while interviewing callers and capturing details in a written report with high accuracy.
  • Experience using MS Office and navigating proprietary software applications.
  • Openness to change and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies: accountability, customer focus, drives results, and instills trust.

  • Every team member is required to have a career plan in place, to be reviewed with their manager after six months in the team.
  • The starting pay for this role is $15.50 per hour. The starting pay for the Bilingual role is $17.50 per hour. Pay progression is based on performance.
