Job Description
Performs routine duties in the Library Service Center and other off-site storage facilities, including shelving, shifting, locating library materials, shelf reading, sorting materials by size, lifting boxes and trays, and data entry. Performs other duties as assigned.
Employees in this position will report to work at an off-campus location – the Library Service Center at 2601 Technology Place and occasionally on campus. Transportation will not be provided. Must have a valid Driver's License.
Job Requirements
Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Fall 2025 class schedule; calendar view is preferred*
Skills:
- Basic data entry skills and some computer experience.
Certifications:
- Valid driver's license
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Regular bending, stooping, and stretching; ability to lift 50 lbs.; ability to push heavy carts; ability to use manual and electronic lifts.
Department Preferences:
- Afternoons, especially Tuesdays and Thursdays, are heavily preferred.
