What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Build and maintain strong media and influencer relationships to secure coverage for client accounts
- Facilitate media briefings and provide counsel on media opportunities to clients
- Generate and edit various written content, including press releases, pitches, and award submissions
- Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development and goal setting
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and participate in the pitch process
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 2-3 years of public relations experience, preferably at an agency or fast-paced startup
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content with minimal edits
- Established relationships with media and influencers relevant to clients' businesses
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple client accounts
- Commitment to maintaining a professional attitude and fostering an inclusive work environment
