We’re seeking a visionary, creative type with 5+ years of experience growing teams and delighting clients. As an Account Manager, you will lead 3 to 4 teams doing everything from developing high-level strategy with clients to executing media, influencer and social media programs. Rock-solid writing skills, strong knowledge of the technology industry, and proficiency with digital and social are required. A track record of leading edge thinking to develop programs with meaningful business impact is preferred. We value staff at all levels and expect you to inspire and energize your teams. Technology background and established relationships with consumer tech media are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Media/Influencer Relations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business, broadcast and influencer media; direct staff to build the same
• Engage with social media channels to support efforts and measure impact
• Ongoing engagement of media for the agency (e.g., blog Q&A, lunch talks)
• Measure the ROI of communications activities
• Manage PR programs from kickoff through achieving goals
• Lead and mentor staff; manage client expectations and success
• Develop budgets and team priorities; identify opportunities to increase spend
• Lead media training sessions with clients, including developing key messages
• Writing and content development for campaigns and programs
• Produce and edit press materials; ensure timely client communication
• Participate in new business processes; identify targets and support pitches
• Maintain professional attitude and lead by example; support teams and manage up/down
• Ensure responsible use of flexible work policies
