Public Relations Account Manager (B2B Technology, Cybersecurity, Financial Services) at Highwire. Responsibilities

• Media/Influencer Relations; maintain strong relationships with business, broadcast and influencer media and direct staff to develop relationships.
• Utilize social media channels to engage and support efforts; ongoing engagement of media for the agency (e.g., blog Q&A, lunch talks).
• Measure the ROI of communications activities; manage PR programs from kickoff to goals; lead media training sessions; write pitches, press releases, fact sheets, bios, and related materials.
• Client service/management; exceptional client management and ability to manage through change or crisis; day-to-day client contact; develop budgets and allocations; identify opportunities to increase budget.
• Lead and mentor teams; maintain two direct reports; participate in new business processes; attend networking events.
• Maintain professional, energetic attitude; support teams and manage up and down; use Highwire channels; write for Highwire blog.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tech PR; experience growing teams and delighting clients.
• Strong writing skills; in-depth knowledge of the technology industry; proficiency with digital and social media.
• Track record of leading-edge thinking to develop programs with meaningful business impact; established relationships with consumer tech media.
