Job Title: HOA Community Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HOA Community Manager to oversee the operations and management of our homeowners association. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail. This role involves interacting with homeowners, managing vendor contracts, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with HOA regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Homeowner Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding inquiries, complaints, and requests.
    • Maintain positive relationships with homeowners through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Coordinate and attend HOA meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns raised by residents.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Solicit bids and negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as landscaping, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Supervise vendors to ensure work is completed satisfactorily and within budget.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for contract renewals or terminations.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the HOA board.
    • Collect dues and assessments from homeowners, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
    • Monitor expenses and financial reports to maintain financial stability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  4. Compliance Oversight:
    • Enforce HOA rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
    • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines and maintenance standards.
    • Take appropriate action to address violations, including issuing warnings, fines, or legal notices as necessary.
  5. Property Maintenance:
    • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for common areas and amenities.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from homeowners and address issues in a timely manner.
    • Implement preventative maintenance programs to preserve property value and minimize future expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management, community association management, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software Appfolio.
  • Knowledge of HOA laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently with minimal supervision
