Overview
Transformation & Change Communications Senior Consultant — Liberty Mutual Insurance This role is part of Liberty Mutual’s Global Risk Solutions (GRS) business. The position focuses on transformation communications and change management to support enterprise initiatives, partnering across workstreams and business units to design and deliver effective communications, strengthen the case for change, and keep employees engaged and aligned. Location: Northeast preferred. This is a hybrid opportunity preferably based in Boston, New York, or Washington, DC. The incumbent will be required to travel to Boston with some regularity if not Boston-based. Base pay range: $104,000.00/yr - $194,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Design and deliver communications and engagement plans that support transformation across GRS. Create content (presentations, newsletters, FAQs, talking points) and prepare materials for leadership and employee forums. Partner with workstreams and business units, providing tools, templates, and best practices for internal communications. Build and maintain the case for change, ensuring messages evolve and resonate with employees at all levels. Drive adoption and behavior change by orchestrating communications and change management activities across functions. Measure effectiveness, gather feedback, and continuously refine strategies. Navigate a highly matrixed organization and partner with external consultants as needed. Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in communications, change management, and transformation roles with hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise transformations (e.g., tech rollouts, M&A, operating model changes, major process transformation or culture change). Expertise in shaping clear, compelling narratives for large-scale change. Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills. Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders. Proven track record shaping and executing communication strategies for complex stakeholder groups across geographies and functions. Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus. What We Offer
