ASCENDtials . ASCENDtials assists those in the BIPOC community in dismantling institutionalized Isms within the U.S. workforce by offering workshops that empower them. Our non-profit organization focuses on building cosmic consciousness through our experiential learning programs, healing sessions, and workshops, and environmental programs so that they can successfully advocate for humanity and the environment. Responsibilities
Lead the ASCENDtials editorial staff in the team\'s mission to enhance critical consciousness by offering educational tools, materials, and training courses that are preventative, prepare, inculcate, and reinforce a greater sense of self and community, a Oneness that increases capacity, and environmental care. Lead publication processes, share insight on such matters, and lead weekly team meetings. Track attendance and hours of team members; attend strategy meetings; participate in evaluation of volunteers and interns. Assemble and publish content; maintain strong writing skills to adjust or update content as needed. Ensure disclosures and compliance requirements are applied to new and existing content. Develop and maintain documentation for the team; perform fact checking and copyediting. Collaborate with the Copyediting team to improve knowledge and skills through feedback; contribute to growing and fostering the ASCENDtials brand as a top destination for personal growth and social change. What You Need To Succeed
Experience working with the publication of online content in some capacity Experience leading and managing a team Successful experience working remotely in previous position(s) Ability to work and make decisions independently Relentless attention to detail, strong organization, and follow-through on projects Experience working with Google Docs and Sheets Experience working within a CRM (WordPress, etc.) Familiarity with Asana (or another project management system like Airtable or Trello) Basic familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style Basic knowledge of HTML and/or SEO are a plus Seniority level
