Robert Half is partnering with a global tech and entertainment company in search of a
Visual Designer & Design System Specialist
to support a growing cloud gaming platform. This contract role is an exciting opportunity to help build and scale a design system that powers creative production across multiple countries and campaigns.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Figma, passionate about design systems, and has a personal interest in gaming culture. They will join a small, embedded creative team within the marketing organization and play a key role in
expanding the visual foundation of a global brand .
Location : Bellevue, WA (hybrid-onsite 1 day/week)
Duration : 6-month contract w/ potential to extend
Hours : 40 hours/week
Pay Rate:
$40-43/hour
Key Responsibilities
Architect and evolve a robust Figma-based design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across marketing assets. Create smart, reusable components, templates, and variables to support brand scalability across multiple countries and game launches. Collaborate with cross-functional creative and marketing teams to streamline workflows and improve production velocity. Improve upon a recently migrated system from Photoshop to Figma, ensuring it meets the demands of an expanding platform. Apply strong visual design fundamentals-typography, layout, and hierarchy-to produce polished, on-brand work. Support rebranding efforts and regional marketing needs by scaling design systems across global touchpoints.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
4+ years of design experience, including2+ years specifically in design systems. Advanced proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, components, and variables. Demonstrated experience scaling design systems across large, complex projects. Strong visual design skills and a solid understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, UX, or equivalent work experience. An online portfolio that clearly showcases contributions to successful, scalable design systems. Personal interest in gaming or familiarity with gaming culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience withAdobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Familiarity withdesign tokens, automation, and accessibility standards. Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS). Experience developing or usingFigma pluginsor JavaScript tool
