The Opportunity: City National Rochdale, a specialized high-net-worth investment manager, is looking for a self-motivated marketing professional to support event planning and execution. We are currently seeking a Marketing Contractor to support our Event Planning Team by managing tactical marketing tasks that ensure seamless execution of our field marketing initiatives. The Marketing Contractor will assist in planning, organizing, and executing successful marketing events that align with the firms strategic goals. This position requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for a wide range of event-related tasks including logistics, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure every event is a success. Other activities related to field engagement will include routing marketing collateral through compliance processes, updating Salesforce campaigns with appropriate statuses, and ensuring all marketing activities align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in event planning and marketing, with excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination: coordinate with vendors, venues, and partners to ensure seamless event execution; support the development and management of event timelines, budgets, logistics, and promotional materials; help create and manage event-specific marketing collateral such as deck presentations and invites, ensuring timely delivery and compliance; execute and track shipments for conferences and events; research new venues and vendors for future events. Marketing Collateral Compliance: route marketing materials through the compliance review process, ensure content meets regulatory and brand standards; maintain an organized system for tracking collateral submissions and approvals; submit conference and sponsorship invoices through internal portals for expense processing. Salesforce Campaign Management: update and maintain Salesforce campaigns, ensuring accurate status updates and data integrity; collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align campaign goals and execution. Reporting and Analysis: provide regular updates on the status of marketing collateral and Salesforce campaigns; assist in analyzing campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements for future initiatives. Collaboration: work closely with the Event Planning Team and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and execution; participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing marketing efforts. Qualifications
Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel). Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM systems. Proficiency in Marketing Automation Software (e.g., Pardot). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with compliance processes in marketing is a plus. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred. Job Details
