Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs) is a nonprofit 501c(3) humanitarian organization providing disaster response and public health initiatives worldwide. Current missions include Ukraine and Turkey, with prior missions in numerous countries. GoDocs aims to deploy medical care alongside search and rescue assets to deliver comprehensive services from rescue to definitive medical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive public relations strategy to attract a diverse following and support for GoDocs’ work
• Build a media list and relationships with press, key contacts, and influencers
• Promote and highlight GoDocs’ work to contacts through consistent updates on our programs and missions worldwide
• Track GoDocs’ media activities and coverage
• Coordinate and communicate with sponsors, including sponsorship proposals, follow-ups, and thank-you notes
• Research, write, edit, and distribute press releases, materials, and press kits

Key Skills & Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
• 3-5 years of prior experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong knowledge of and contacts within TV/radio/print industry

Minimum Commitment

5-10 hours/week for 6 months
