Overview

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Certified Microsoft .NET Web Developer III for our client partner. This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance. Project work will include application design and development, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development methodology. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis. Certified Microsoft .Net Web Developer III capabilities with 5 or more years of experience in .NET core, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance, including design, development, and modifications to existing code.
• Design, create, and maintain web services and perform system integration tasks.
• Participate in testing processes through test reviews and analysis.
• Apply Agile Scrum development methodology in project work.

Qualifications

• Certified Microsoft .Net Web Developer III with 5 or more years of experience in .NET Core.
• Experience in web development with C# and .NET Core 8+.
• Experience with web services, system integration, and related technologies.
• Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems is a plus.

Location and Availability

Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. Remote work from within the state of Wisconsin is currently allowed. The contractor must be online, available to meet workload requirements, and attend all scheduled meetings during standard working hours of 7:45 am – 4:30 pm Central Time. Changes to this arrangement may be made with reasonable advance notice.
