As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.

What We Offer

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• We match you with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Our AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and enhance teaching.
• We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions and we process payments.

• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
