Overview

Join Varsity Tutors as a tutor to work remotely with students on PSAT Writing Skills. Earn base contract rates starting at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects and higher pay for recurring sessions with the same student (up to $40/hour). Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.

Responsibilities

• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Be matched with students who fit your teaching style and expertise.
• Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.
• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring and on-demand tutoring as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
