As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online PSAT Writing Skills instruction on the Varsity Tutors platform (1-on-1 sessions).
• Use the Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely; tailor lessons to individual student needs and adapt to different learning styles.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions as you complete them; manage your own schedule.
• Incorporate available tools (e.g., Tutor Copilot) to enhance instruction and save prep time.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PSAT Writing Skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, or graduate-level education.

Compensation and What We Offer

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40/hour.
