Design including: o Ideating design concepts by evaluating existing and potential future problems (2%); o Providing high-quality renderings and detailed drawings to communication the ideas throughout the different stages of the process (5%); o Interacting with clients and the sales team to iterate design solutions (3%); o Having design reviews with the VP and COO to make changes based on customer feedback (2%); o Using Solid Works and KeyShot to generate detailed CAD models, renderings, and technical draw-ings for internal and external review (7%); o Participating in design reviews and incorporating feedback from senior management, clients, and in-ternal departments (2%); o Applying expertise in Mastercam and CNC machining to ensure design feasibility aligns with tooling paths and production strategy (7%); o Working on packaging efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including light-weighting, part consolidation, and use of recyclable materials (4%); and o Contributing to design standards, documentation protocols, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices across the department (2%).

Project Management including: o Ensuring that the package meets the needs and reviewing it for form, fit, and function Creating and developing structural packaging concepts that align with client needs and production feasibility (3%); o Working directly with clients and internal stakeholders to define project goals and adapt designs based on evolving requirements (3%); o Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, tooling, programming, sales, and production to ensure smooth project execution (4%); o Managing the full project lifecycle for new product lines, overseeing timelines, key milestones, customer alignment, and successful launch execution through stage/gate project management (7%); o Developing and delivering client presentations, 3D visuals, and physical samples during meetings and review sessions (4%); o Leading customer qualification phases: sample trials, part validation, and specification finalization (4%); o Tracking project progress using MS Project or equivalent tools and ensure compliance with SQF/ISO requirements (6%); and o Facilitating cross-functional communication to proactively resolve project risks and bottlenecks (3%).

Sales including: o Owning and growing assigned customer accounts as primary technical and strategic contact, driving packaging innovation and long-term relationships (10%); o Collaborating closely with sales and commercial teams to identify new business opportunities and develop account growth strategies (7%); o Supporting sales through concept proposals, sampling coordination, product optimization, and commercial negotiations (5%); o Monitoring market trends and competitor innovations to recommend new packaging solutions and maintain competitive advantage (5%); and o Participating in high-level client meetings, design reviews, and contract negotiations to support sales and program success (5%).

Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related field and 4 years of experience in a New Product Development (NPD) environment focused on thermoforming packaging or manufacturing processes performing design for material optimization and waste reduction, translating user needs and technical requirements into 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, creating detailed sketches, mockups, and physical prototypes; and 4 years of experience with CAD software, SolidWorks, Rendering Software, KeyShot, Thermoforming knowledge, strong understanding of sheet gauge, draw ratios, trimming, and mold design, 2D Design Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, inDesign, technical drawing, form, fit and function validation, market and material analysis, and Rapid Prototyping tools.
