Dreamzilla is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2022 by a passionate father-son duo with neurodivergent lived experience. Our work focuses on developing initiatives that build community, respect individual experience, and honor the nature of growth and change. What we need (Core Responsibilities):
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and help us increase public awareness of the organization and create a strong online presence. You will work closely with othermanagers to develop strategies to increase followers, create and oversee social campaigns, producing content, reviewing analytics, and communicating with key stakeholders in the organization.
Key Duties Include:
● Help create and maintain a social media plan.
● Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of DREAMZILLA.
● In coordination with our Program Manager, keep our social media channels updated.
● Respond to questions and comments on posts in a timely manner.
● Ensure that communication reaches a wide range of local stakeholders and diverse audiences.
Who you are (Key Qualifications)
● Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, or another related field preferred.
● At least 2 years’ experience with developing and enacting campaigns.
● Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform (currently Insta & FB, looking to add others)
● Ability to build social media communities.
● Video editing experience a plus!
● Experience with Meta Business Suite a plus.
● Able to commit 5-10 hours a week.
