Volunteer Technical SEO Specialist , you will play a crucial role in improving our website’s visibility. Your work will ensure that more people discover our mission, more donations are made, and more humanitarian aid is delivered. What’s In It for You? Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console). Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including the ability to spot and resolve code issues affecting SEO and assess the impact of JS on rendering and indexing. Page speed optimization using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse; image optimization, script minimization, and caching. Mobile optimization and responsive design; testing for mobile-first indexing. Ability to implement and troubleshoot structured data (schema.org) to improve rich snippets. Redirect and canonical URL management (301/302 redirects, canonicalization) Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Your Role As a
Technical SEO Specialist , your work will enhance Nova Ukraine’s online presence, optimize user journeys, and improve engagement strategies. What You’ll Do Analyze & optimize SEO to increase website visibility and organic traffic. Identify and fix technical SEO errors Optimize site architecture and URL structure Audit and improve website indexing Manage robots.txt and sitemap.xml files Monitor website engagement to identify trends and recommend improvements. Generate reports with actionable insights to refine our digital strategy. Would be a plus Knowledge of data visualization tools Knowledge of GTM and Google Analytics Programming skills Work conditions Volunteer role (unpaid).
