Grant Writing Volunteer

SASA is looking for Grant Writing Volunteers (unpaid) to assist our Grant Writing team in facilitating the researching, writing and applying for grants. This is a volunteer (unpaid) position to support the organization’s fundraising priorities by writing grant applications and reports, cultivating relationships with team members, and identifying new grant opportunities. This position is most well-suited for someone interested in learning more about Grant Writing and hoping to develop their skill set within a growing nonprofit organization. They must be flexible, adaptive, and comfortable working independently as new projects and tasks emerge. Examples of responsibilities include: Working closely with with the Grant Team Leader to understand the requirements for successful grant writing

Contributing feedback on and editing letters of intent and grant applications

Providing new ideas for additional avenues of funding

Completing any assignments on time based on direction from the Grant Team Leader

Attending weekly meetings

Other duties as assigned
