Creative Project Manager Primary responsibilities: Serves as the day to day, project based, point of contact between the Event Production team and the Creative team Act as day-to-day point of contact for delivery related issues Manages creative team's schedules, including scheduling kickoffs, internal reviews and check-ins Develops and maintains creative project deliverables, including project plans and timelines Works with department leadership to manage the prioritization and throughput of projects Reviews and assigns incoming project requests and communicates with Events Producers, as needed, for additional information prior to Design kickoff Assesses project risk and scope creep, escalates challenges to Creative Studio Ops Mgr and provides solutions-oriented approach. Ensures projects are aligning to budget (escalating blockers) Ensures projects are aligning to timelines (escalating blockers) Ensures Design receives client feedback in a timely manner
Owns and maintains Design status documents and Design specific meeting agendas Manages weekly status meetings with Creative team Acts as a communication link between the GDS Design team, GDS Event Production and Video teams by attending weekly XFN meetings to share project status updates and capture relevant notes / direction Acts as additional set of QC eyes, ensuring integrity and quality of creative work Contributes to internal process improvement initiatives, especially those involving tools and knowledge management solutions Reports into Creative Studio Ops Manager
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
