Responsibilities

Under general supervision, professionally writes and edits content for Brookdale\'s websites. Ensures content aligns with brand and web standards and is legally compliant.

• Updates website with correct, up-to-date information for our communities and brand and effectively organizes content for more than 600 communities.
• Monitors community web pages for compliance, enforces standards, and makes recommendations for non-compliant pages with attention to detail.
• Assists with reviewing, grammatically editing and approving corporate and local community content.
• Responsible for multiple projects to ensure they are adequately completed on time.
• Works as a writer and editor to develop content that is structured and cohesive with company standards.
• Grows to learn web marketing best practices across platforms and conducts research related to business and website changes.
• Provides input to strategies to promote the organization\'s product lines through the website and collaborates with the team.
• Collaborates with the Manager, Web Content Marketing to make recommendations on content and layout to improve local and overall website community performance.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor\'s Degree in Writing, Communications, Administration, Marketing, or other related field required. One year of experience in related field; web marketing preferred. Additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Strong writing skills and grammatical understanding with content management as a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft products and Google Drive products like Google Docs and Google Sheets are highly preferred.
