What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while managing key accounts
Drive new business development and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Mentor and manage account teams, fostering staff development and performance improvement
Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and successfully achieve media placements
Extensive writing and editing experience for various print and online communications media
Strong leadership skills in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and marketing program
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a record of translating strategic ideas into actionable plans
Familiarity with setting up measurement programs for communications activities
Previous experience managing and mentoring a team of communications specialists
