Key Responsibilities
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as most senior, strategic client counsel
Consistently produce a coherent strategy for clients and projects
Work with top executives at leading technology companies as a trusted counselor and advisor
Own and drive a cornerstone in the agency (excellent careers, superb client service, strong financials, improved operations and tools)
Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding scope of work or offering new services
Identify and lead pitches to bring in new clients with growth goals tied to salary
Collaborate with integrated teams to provide seamless multi-channel solutions across PR, digital and social media
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Manage, mentor and develop staff with a collaborative approach
Monitor performance, set objectives, and conduct annual reviews
Represent Highwire and key clients at industry events and conferences
Service clients profitably while monitoring staff billability, client needs, and resource load
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum 15 years in communications (in-house or agency) with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
Proven ability to build relationships with reporters and editors and secure high-impact placements
Extensive writing and editing experience for a variety of print and online media
Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification
Leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and marketing program
Innovative thinker with a track record of turning strategy into action
Experience building, managing, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications professionals
Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
Experience setting up measurement programs and ROI for communications activities
