Responsibilities

• Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
• Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while working with top executives as a trusted advisor
• Generate business revenue within existing clients by providing strategic recommendations to expand the scope of work
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and setting objectives
• Represent the employer and key clients at industry events, seminars, and conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
• Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and achieve high-impact media placements
• Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online communications media
• Demonstrated leadership in managing comprehensive strategic communications and marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaign management
• Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
• Experience in setting up measurement programs and measuring the ROI of communications activities
