What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the primary strategic counsel for clients
• Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while managing key accounts
• Generate business revenue by expanding the scope of work and bringing in new clients
• Mentor and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and setting objectives
• Represent the employer and clients at industry events to build networking contacts

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact placements
• Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media
• Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs
