Responsibilities

• Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
• Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects, ensuring seamless multi-channel solutions
• Drive new business development and manage existing client relationships
• Mentor, manage, and develop staff, setting objectives and conducting performance reviews
• Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networks and new business contacts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top-tier reporters and successfully positioning subject matter with the media
• Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online communications media
• Experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs

• Proven track record in social media influencer engagement and content campaign management
• Innovative thinker with experience translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
• Experience in setting up measurement programs to evaluate the ROI of communications activities
